Flight Attendants from International domiciles (NRT, LHR, FRA, & HKG) who have picked up out of base flying in North American domiciles, that is, departing the United States for other International destinations, may never be reassigned to domestic flying in the event of an irregularity.

Over the past several weeks we have had a couple of instances where International Flight Attendants have been affected by irregularities and have been improperly reassigned to domestic flying. Remember, it is the mutual obligation of the Flight Attendant and the Crew Scheduler to ensure that reassignments comport with a legal requirements. In the event a Crew Scheduler attempts to reassign you as an international Flight Attendant to domestic flying, you are required to advise them you may not legally be assigned to domestic flying.  If you encounter resistance, ask to speak to a supervisor because, as an international Flight Attendant, you may not be reassigned to domestic flying.
