The PRC crew visa is now a requirement for all Flight Attendants based in locations where the monthly bid package contains working or deadheading segments to/from the People’s Republic of China. In order to obtain a PRC visa, your passport must be valid for two years & six months (30 months) and you must have at least two blank pages.

Flight Attendants holding passports from the PRC do not require the PRC visa but must be registered by FASCO (Bejing Foreign Airlines Service Corporation) in order to perform duties on flights into China. All Flight Attendants holding PRC passports from the PRC, regardless of where you are based, must contact the EWR Inflight Concierge at 973 681 1424 to register for FASCO. Be prepared to provide copies of the PRC Visa and your U.S. issued alien registration (green) card.

Taiwanese and Hong Kong passport holders must contact their respective Consulate/Embassy to obtain proper travel documents to travel to the PRC.

Additional information on how to obtain this visa are available on the company’s website including instructions on how to obtain a reimbursement from the company for the expense of the PRC visa.
