Beginning on Sept. 12, 2018, all Flight Attendants will be using new functionality in CCS to bid for October schedules. To help successfully prepare for this change, the CCS Practice Environment launches today.

The CCS Practice Environment will allow you to navigate the new bidding screens and become familiar with the new functionality so you are prepared to bid in September. The CCS Practice Environment will be launched in two parts:

  • Part 1: Beginning today, July 9 through Aug. 30, 2018 – You will be able to view sample bid packets, practice navigating the Primary bidding screen and see various examples of a monthly line award.
    • Use the following link to access the CCS Practice Environment on a computer at the base or at home: https://ccs-test.ual.com/FA-Sandbox
    • While the CCS Practice Environment is accessible on Link and personal devices, we recommend using a laptop or desktop as it provides a better experience.
    • This link is different from the “live” CCS and will only be used exclusively for practice purposes.
    • Make sure you review the CCS Practice Environment Information Sheet for instructions on how to log in, to know what to expect and understand what’s included.
  • Part 2: August 2018 – Next month we’ll be adding more features such as allowing you to experience Trip Trades, viewing your Master Schedule, and more. Additional information for Part 2 of the CCS Practice Environment will be provided in late July.

Starting in September, CCS will include redesigned screens and new functionality for all Flight Attendants. Whether you are familiar with the current version of CCS or not, we strongly encourage you to take the time to experience the new bidding environment so there are no surprises come Oct. 1, 2018. Additionally, we recommend that everyone take full advantage of the extensive educational materials that are being made available to you. These will be distributed via email, posted on One United, in Content Locker on your Link and in all the bases.
