Thankfully, the link to information about the Voluntary Furlough Bidding Period is now back on Unimatic Front Page News.

Since Unimatic is used by everyone before each and every trip, and also via those using home AOL access, it is the perfect place to put a reminder of the soon-to-close Voluntary Furlough Bidding Period.

We had commented on the lack of the furlough bidding period reminder mention in our previous story titled, "Voluntary Furloughs? All Quiet on the Home Front".

We do want to express a sincere thank you to whoever put that link back up, as it is CRITICAL that as many people as possible know about the option to both request a voluntary furlough and/or submit a partnership bid.

Now it's your turn: Today and tomorrow tell as many fellow flying partners you see as possible that the bid period for a voluntary furlough ends on March 15.  That's two days from now.  Two days remaining.

As of March 13 at 0742 CST, there are only 557 requests shown on file.
