Door Access Codes Via Telephone?

Date: May 19, 2002

I'm not sure there should be an easier alternative to get door access codes thank you very much, but here's the Onboard Service announcement about this:

The Federal Aviation Administration mandated on Feb. 20 that all UAL airport door access codes be changed and lists of them removed from the Inflight Handbook and Flight Operations Manual.

For your convenience, Onboard Service, Flight Operations and ISD have implemented a system that will make the codes available to flight attendants and pilots via telephone at any time from any location.

Beginning May 22, 2002, flight attendants and pilots can access security codes via CATS, through 1-800-UAL-SKED or FLT-LINE. After signing into the system, Press "1" for flight attendant functions and then "5." Follow the voice prompts to access the stations for which you would like the codes.

DIS*37000 will continue to be available for the immediate future.
