Here's some helpful information that was sent to Pursers regarding some of the finer points photographs and safety...

• Passengers may take photographs on board our airplanes.  Electronic cameras (film or video) may be used 10 minutes after takeoff and throughout the flight until 10 minutes before landing.
• The rules for electronic devices (cell phones, laptop computers) also apply to electronic cameras.  Non-electronic cameras are acceptable at all times.
• Diagrams of airplane interiors can be found on the Internet, and United frequently uses images of its airplane interiors in marketing brochures and advertisements.
