Beginning September 6, 2000, Colorado Springs, Colorado, will become United Shuttle's 23rd destination with five daily roundtrips to Denver.

The flight schedule will be as follows:

  • Colorado Springs to Denver flights will depart at 6:40 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 1:41 p.m., 4:35 p.m. and 7:48 p.m.
  • Denver to Colorado Springs flights will depart at 10:00 a.m., 12:35 p.m.,3:22 p.m., 6:46 p.m. and 9:10 p.m.

More than 70 Denver and Colorado Springs employees attended "enculturation" training to prepare for this route.  According to NewsReal, "enculturation" training is a "six-hour overview of United Shuttle's history, short-haul strategy and unique processes."  Just the phrase 'enculturation training' gives me the heebee jeebees!

Perhaps flight attendants will soon have to take 'enculturation training' to prepare for the role of Departure Facilitator.
